Who am I ?
Located in Spa, in the heart of Belgian Ardens, Azur Gallery has the privilege to organise its exhibitions in a charming 19th-century mansion rich in history.
Built in 1883, the house has been taken over several times during the second world war by the Germans to water their horses at the back of the garden.
The house was repurchased in 1967 by the G. family and transformed in a hotel called “Hotel de l’Avenue”. Among other, Edith Piaf, Gilles Perrault – author of the political roman ” l’Orchestre Rouge” – stayed several days.
In this beautiful scene, Azur Gallery has openend its doors 37 years ago.
Gaduated in Business Administration from University of Liège and in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institue of Art, I decided to take up the big challenge by taking over Azur Gallery in Spa.
That was already 10 years ago …
I had the chance to exhibit well-known artists such as Alfonso Alzamora, Clemens Briels, Philippe Geluck, Pierre Alechinsky, la Famille Borowski, et bien d’autres … without neglecting emerging artists such as Marc-André Metais, Moyo, …
Numerous and very enriching meetings either in art or in human terms.
Our huge exhibition space, on three levels, allow us to offer you a wide panel of contemporary, quality and innovative artworks : sculptures, paintings, photos, …
Not to mention our lovely English garden, a real peace-loving place in the city center of Spa, which has been landscaped to welcome lovely sculptures in various forms and techniques.
